Daily expressions for Korean language - 유용한 한국어 표현

These are useful daily expressions in Korean language. 

 

안녕하세요 anneyonhaseoyo hi / hello 

안녕하세요 is rather formal expression to show hi hello to others. If  you can be more friendly, you can also say 안녕 (without 하세요).

 

내 이름은 ~입니다. naeileumeun ~ibnida my name is ~.

When you introduce your name to others, you can use 내 이름은 my name is~  ~입니다. This is also for formal and polite expression. Therefore, to friends, you can say 내 이름은 ~야. (~ya)  

 

나는 ~에 삽니다. naneun ~e sabnida. I live in ~. 

나는 ~에 삽니다. , a expression to show your nationality and also an address. If you want to use more friendly, you can say 나는 ~에 살아. (sala)

 

감사합니다. gamsahabnida Thank you.

감사합니다. is also polite expression for thank you. If you want to be more friendly, you can say 고마워. gomawo.

 

괜찮아요. gwanchanayo. I'm fine / I'm okay.

you can also say 괜찮아 (without 요 yo) to friends and peers. 

 

실례합니다. sillyehabnida Excuse me. 

 

맛있어요. masitsseoyo It's delicious.

 

 

재미있어요. jaemiitsseoyo. It's so much fun.

 

안녕히 계세요. or 안녕히 가세요. annyeonghi gyeseyo. or annyeonghi gaseyo.

If you are leaving, you can say 안녕히 계세요. If someone is leaving, you can say 안녕히 가세요. 

 

얼마인가요? eolmaingayo How much is it?

 

카드 결제 되나요? kadeu gyeolje deoinayo Can I pay by card?

 

어디가 ~ 인가요? eodiga ~ ingayo? Where is ~ ?

 

누가 ~인가요 ? nuga ~ ingayo? Who is ~?

 

어떻게 가나요? eoddeotge ganayo? How can I get there?

 

언제 가나요? eonje ganayo? When do I go ?

 

몇 시인가요? myeot siingayo? What time is it?

 

미안합니다. mianhabnida I'm sorry. 

미안합니다 is polite way of expression. If you use  미안해. (mianhae) , it is much friendly way of expression to friends and peers. 

 

몇 층인가요? Myeocheungingayo What floor (stair) it is?
