How to make negative forms for verbs in Korean language - 부정형

If you want to express negative for Korean verb form, you can use 안 an 못 mot ~지 않~ ~ji an~, ~지 못~ ~ji mot~. 

Here're what you can use as sentences. 

I have no money. 나는 돈을 안 가지고 있다. naneun doneul an gajigo itda.

I cannot do. 나는 못 한다. naneun mot handa.

I couldn't go. 나는 가지 못했다. naneun gaji mothadda.

I didn't finish. 나는 끝내지 않았다. naneun kkeutnaeji anatta.

 

Interestingly, if you use these 안, 못, ~지 않~, ~지 못~ twice, it became positive forms for verbs in Korean language. 

I didn't not go there. ( I went there) 나는 가지 않지 않았다. neneun gaji anji anatta.

I couldnt' not eat it. (I was able to eat it) 나는 먹지 못하지 않았다. naneun meokji mothaji anatta.
